What is warm calling?
Once prospects have been identified and initial research about them has been conducted, there are various approaches through which sales reps can reach out to them. One such effective approach is warm calling. It involves calling leads that have interacted with the business in some form or the other already. The purpose of warm calling further is to check if the prospect qualifies to be pursued and might end up buying the product eventually.
What is the difference between cold & warm calling?
While there is calling and solicitation involved in both, warm and cold calling are not the same. Cold calling unlike warm calling involves soliciting leads who haven’t interacted with the business and weren’t expected to have received communication from the said business. Warm calling is considered to be more effective given that they have an increased scope of personalisation. It is because of this reason that warm calling has been gaining a lot of traction.
